As a project assistant at Oogenlust, no two days are the same. You’ll help set up and dismantle some of the most extraordinary events, ranging from stylish weddings and dinners to corporate events and staff parties.

What does your day look like?

You’ll drive our lorry or van to a variety of locations. There, you’ll work with a range of materials and tools, set up furniture, décor and greenery, and, together with your colleagues, ensure that every event venue is decorated down to the last detail. Thanks to your technical know-how, you’ll be able to switch quickly between different types of tasks.

Who are you?

• MBO level of working and thinking, preferably with a background as a gardener or stand builder.
• You’re good with your hands, have a good understanding of technical matters and are adept at using a variety of tools.
• You hold a Category B driving licence, preferably supplemented by a Category C or CE licence (which may also be obtained within Oogenlust).
• You have a strong work ethic: you’re not afraid to get stuck in, lift, carry and keep going when needed.
• You are a team player.
• Flexibility is essential. You’ll be dealing with varying working hours, so a 9-to-5 mindset won’t work here.

• A contract for 24–40 hours; 10 hours a day is possible by arrangement (40 hours over 4 days).
