As a driver at Oogenlust, you’ll see more than just the Dutch road network and the inside of your lorry cab. You’ll be transporting materials for the set-up and dismantling of special events throughout the Netherlands and Europe. This includes set elements, furniture, large plants and floral decorations, which you’ll deliver safely and carefully to the venue.

On site, you’ll work actively alongside your colleagues to set up and dismantle a wide range of events, such as staff parties, anniversaries, dinners and weddings. You’ll be part of the team and will be just as happy to roll up your sleeves as you are to get behind the wheel.

What does your day look like?

One day you’ll be loading the lorry for a journey to an event venue in the Netherlands; the next day you’ll be driving to a project in Europe. Once you arrive, you’ll help with unloading and, together with your colleagues, set up the event venue down to the last detail.

Between journeys, you’ll be preparing shipments, loading and unloading materials, or providing on-site support with set-up and dismantling. No two days are the same: you’ll be combining driving, physical work and teamwork across a constantly changing range of projects and environments.

Who are you?

• You hold a valid CE driving licence, or are willing to obtain one within Oogenlust.
• You’re a go-getter who likes to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
• You are physically strong.
• Flexibility is essential. You’ll be dealing with varying working hours, so a 9-to-5 mindset won’t work here.
