The Barn
A mobile, external event location with the look and feel of an American barn: warm, robust and stylish. An exclusive pop-up venue that instantly adds atmosphere and character to any event and can be placed in almost any location. Made of high-quality FSC wood and metal, with large windows that provide pleasant, natural light.
With a floor area of approximately 225 m², The Barn can accommodate 100 to 250 guests. This makes The Barn suitable for events at Domain Oogenlust as well as for events at external locations: from company parties and product presentations to dinners, drinks and festivals. Both indoors and outdoors.
The Barn has a total length of 18 metres, but is modular and can be shortened into 3-metre sections if required. The side walls are (partly) demountable, allowing you to play with an open or more closed setting. This creates exactly the right experience: intimate and cosy, or spacious with a festival feel.
In addition to bare hire, we offer a basic package for a complete, atmospheric start. Think of a basic set-up with furniture and decoration. If you want an event that fully reflects your occasion, we are happy to provide a total tailor-made concept. With our background in event dressing and floral craft, we will translate your wishes into a unique look and a distinctive experience at The Barn.
The Barn is not a permanent venue at Domain Oogenlust. It is a mobile event location that can be set up at any suitable location. This is also possible on Domain Oogenlust.
You can work with your own caterer. At Domain Oogenlust, we take care of the furnishings and decoration. At an external location, you have more freedom in this respect. We also offer an optional basic set-up package, including a bar and furniture. For catering and technical support, we will put you in touch with one of our preferred suppliers.
The Barn is strong in atmosphere and experience: from intimate and warm to cool and festival-like. We can completely tailor the interior and decor to your style (think colours, flowers, greenery, light, furniture and routing).
Following your request, we will briefly discuss your plans (date, location, type of event, number of guests and desired atmosphere). We will then make a proposal: rental of The Barn only, including basic furnishings, or a complete customised styling and experience plan. Next, we will plan the logistics and set-up times to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently on location.
